The most important criteria for selecting a Distributor/Dealer in an area is predominantly determined by the potential of a market. Jyothi Gas officials conduct a feasibility study based on which a market is identified for launch of product.
The Application for Distributorship/Dealership is welcomed through Advertisements released in the leading Newspapers, Our Website and Social Media platforms.
The applications are scrutinized by a panel of nominated officials and the selected applicant is called for an interview.

Applicant Age not less than 18 years as on date of application.
Education Qualification should be at least a Matriculate.
Persons convicted under court of law are not eligible to apply.
Distributorship/Dealership obtained through submission of wrong information, the Distributorship/Dealer shall be withdrawn immediately by Jyothi Gas.

PESO approved godown with a minimum capacity of 1000 kg.
Weighing scales approved by Weights & Measures with minimum capacity of 100 kgs and a least count of 50 Gms.
A prominently located showroom with a minimum of 200 sq.ft is required to accommodate seating arrangements for Customers and Staff, Storage of History Cards, file racks, Fire Extinguisher, Stove Display, Demonstration Facility.
Stock Board, Name Board, and Notice Board indicating Prices for cylinders. Working Hours and Weekly Holidays .
Tax Registration Numbers, Adequate delivery vehicles to be available to cater to market demand.
Adequate stock of cylinders to manage current customers and prospective customers which may get enrolled from time to time .
Computer with necessary software.

Trade Licence / Retail Selling Licence.
GST Registration.
Certificate from weights & measures with respect to weighing scale at the Godown.
LPG GodownLicence from PESO.
Fire Licence for Godown from Fire Service Department.

An applicant who has been given Letter Of Intent needs to obtain the Licences and approvals from respective authorities so as to commission the distributorship within the stipulated time.
Before commissioning, Jyothi Gas will enter into a Distributorship agreement.
The normal tenure of the Distributorship/Dealership is for a period of 10 years and renewable thereafter subject to performance of the distributorship and Management's decision.
